He/Him or They/Them

Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, FL Lic#: IMH26070

Romeo is a Mexican/Latinx, gender nonconforming, lesbian who wants to help their clients achieve their most authentic selves. Whether that is confronting people-pleasing behaviors or empowering yourself to feel more aligned with your choices and autonomy, you will be met with a compassionate, warm, and welcoming environment. Romeo also supports clients in navigating and exploring deeper personal identities to examine how the outside world and interpersonal relationships play a crucial role in a client's overall well-being. Romeo's approach stems from an existential framework that encompasses a holistic understanding and lived experience.

Romeo is a mental health counseling intern with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University. They have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Georgia State University. They primarily work with people of the global majority (PGM), LGBTQ+, poly/non-monogamous, and neurodivergent communities; these identities are often integrated with each other, so a systemic approach is used to examine these connections.

Romeo spends their free time enjoying life's bliss and simplicities with their partner, and being a silly little guy. They are currently accepting new clients, so please contact them to discuss scheduling and availability.
