Judi is a mental health counselor and has completed a Masters of Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. She has a Masters of Criminal Justice Administration from Oklahoma City University and Bachelor degrees in Philosophy and Sociology from Central State University in Oklahoma.
My primary goal is to help you be the best person you can be. I strive to listen, be present, and to understand what issues you are experiencing and how we can best work together in a collaborative way for you to grow into your best self. There is no one right theoretical approach for everyone. We will explore the tools that fit with your personality because you are the expert of your own life. I try to employ a warm, nurturing, nonjudgmental style because I understand how hard it can be to be vulnerable. I am a mature counselor with multiple life experiences. I am a certified Spiritual Director with a background in Jungian psychology and am skillful in the use of dreams to unlock unconscious conflicts. I am Gottman Level II trained for couples counseling as well as trained in Prepare Enrich for pre-marital counseling. I take the importance of multiculturalism seriously and enjoy working with LGBTQ+ people.
