Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, FL Lic #IMH21091
I believe everyone is capable of creating positive and sustainable change in their life. I strive to create an empathetic, understanding, and warm environment that fosters comfort, safety, and growth. I enjoy working with eating disorders, personality disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, identity issues, and with LGBTQ+ populations. Together utilizing a person-centered approach, we will craft a therapeutic approach that works for you; we will create sustainable goals and work towards them together. Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, and an overall trauma-informed approach, we will work together to explore mental illness and interpersonal issues, uncover the forces driving maladaptive behavior, and process through the things in your life that make it difficult to move towards your goals.

I received both a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an Education Specialist Degree from Florida State University, a CACREP-accredited program, where I learned to understand, conceptualize, and competently work with mental illness and life issues across diverse populations to promote wellness. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida.
